Privacy Policy

TechAble ("we", "us", "our") respects your privacy. This policy explains what personal information we collect when you use this site, fill out a form, or otherwise contact us; the legal bases on which we use it; how long we keep it; and the rights you have over it, including your rights under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the UK GDPR.

1. Who is responsible for your data

TechAble is the data controller for the personal information collected through this site. If you have any question about this policy or how your information is handled, contact us at support@techable.io with the subject line "Privacy". If you are in the European Union or United Kingdom and wish to raise a data-protection matter, please use the same address and mark it "GDPR request" so we can prioritise it.

2. What we collect

We only collect the information you choose to give us. Depending on how you interact with the site, that may include:

• Your name
• Your work email address
• Your company or organisation name
• Your role and decision-making position
• Information you share about your team's size, current operations, pain points, tools, and goals
• The page or call-to-action you submitted from, so we know which service interested you
• A record of the consent you gave (what you agreed to, and the date and time)

Our Process Reality Check assessment collects the details you enter so we can personalise your results. Our Mobilise team-readiness assessment is anonymous and does not collect personal information unless you choose to book a call. We do not collect special-category (sensitive) personal data, payment card details, or government identifiers through this site.

3. The legal bases we rely on

Under the GDPR we must have a lawful basis for processing your personal information. We rely on the following:

• Consent. When you tick the consent box on a form, you give us a lawful basis to use your information to generate your results and respond to you. Where you separately opt in, we also rely on your consent to send you marketing emails. You can withdraw either consent at any time, without affecting anything we did before you withdrew it.
• Legitimate interests. Where appropriate, we rely on our legitimate interest in responding to a genuine business enquiry you initiated and in keeping basic records of that enquiry. We balance this against your rights and only rely on it where your interests do not override ours.
• Performance of a contract. If we go on to work together, we process your information as necessary to scope and deliver the engagement.

4. How we use it

• To generate and personalise your results. We use the details you enter to tailor your assessment output.
• To respond to you. We use your email and the context you provide to reply, schedule a call, and prepare relevant materials.
• To deliver an engagement. If we work together, we use what you have shared to scope the work and tailor it to your situation.
• To send marketing, only if you have separately opted in. Every marketing email includes a one-click unsubscribe.
• To improve our offer, using aggregated, de-identified information about the kinds of teams that reach out and the pain points that come up most often.

We will never sell, rent, or trade your information.

5. How long we keep it

We keep enquiry and lead information for up to 24 months from your last contact with us, after which we delete or anonymise it unless we have an ongoing relationship or a legal reason to keep it longer. If you become a client, we keep records for the duration of the engagement and for up to 7 years afterward to meet business and tax obligations. You can ask us to delete your information sooner at any time (see Section 8).

6. Where your data is processed and international transfers

We operate remotely and use service providers that may store or process information outside your country, including outside the European Economic Area. Where information is transferred internationally, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses or an adequacy decision, so that your information continues to receive a level of protection consistent with the GDPR.

7. Cookies, analytics, and third parties

This site does not currently set non-essential or tracking cookies. If we add analytics or other non-essential cookies in future, we will show a consent banner first and will not set them for visitors in the EU or UK until you opt in. We also update this page when our practices change.

We use a small number of established providers to run the site and the enquiry workflow, which may include a scheduling tool (Calendly), a form or CRM service, and an email provider. These providers act as our data processors, handle your information solely on our instructions, and are bound by their own data-protection terms. When you book a call through Calendly you provide your details directly to that service, which acts as a separate processor.

8. Your rights

If you are in the EU or UK, the GDPR gives you the following rights. We extend the same rights to everyone who uses this site. You can:

• Access the personal information we hold about you
• Rectify anything that is inaccurate or incomplete
• Erase your information ("right to be forgotten")
• Restrict or object to our processing of your information
• Port your information to another provider in a structured, machine-readable format
• Withdraw consent at any time, including unsubscribing from marketing

To exercise any of these, email support@techable.io with the subject line "Privacy request". We will respond within one month, as required by the GDPR.

9. Complaints

If you are in the EU or UK and you believe we have not handled your information properly, you have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority (in the EU, your national supervisory authority; in the UK, the Information Commissioner's Office). We would, however, appreciate the chance to address your concern first, so please do contact us.

10. Changes to this policy

If we materially change how we handle your information, we will update this page and the "Last updated" date at the top. For significant changes, we will also contact people on our list directly.
